Personally I am very positive with the future of vending business. Other then the sales channel for snack and drink, vending machine is becoming a very popular tool for companies to attract new customers and sell products.
The reason is that, the cost for companies to get a new customer on line is becoming higher and higher. Using vending machine for off line promotion, sales, get new customer off line is more effective.

For example, our customer, a farm owner. They use to promote the farm on line, doing some advertisement to attract people to go to the farm.Sell their product through distributors. New customer cost is very high, online platform cost, advertisement cost…
Now they had install vending machines in the city, selling their farm produced product. And at the same time, promoting on the machine screen/product packing, invite people to visit the farm, visit their online shop.
And in the farm, they make some promotion also, if you don’t want to come all the way, the fresh product also available from the vending machine, listing the address of their vending machine.
The farms itself and vending machines advertise each other to increase sales.
